Courtney, Advertising Executive, on her Career Transition journey
“After having worked with Gina, I am confident in taking my career path knowing that I won’t live to regret it. Having defined my “core values” and knowing, that as long as I live my values, the choices I make would not lead me astray; I am confident that I’m moving in the right direction. All the sessions are well connected to each other and, like stairs, each session built upon the other and moved me to honest realizations. I knew that Gina was a great fit for me because she was very personable and attentive to my needs. She helped me get to where I needed to be. Gina makes a difference to her clients. I felt like she was invested as I was in me gaining career clarity. She was very engaging and attentive to my needs, which made a huge difference to me. There are lots of career recruiters out there! I reached out to several but she was a great fit for me because she had been so personable and attentive. She helped me get to where i needed to be. She is very compassionate and personable. I always felt like she was invested in me. It meant as much to her as it did to me for me to find clarity. I havent worked with any other career counselors but I could imagine that not every one of them would have the same level of investment in their clients.”
Nora, Employment Services Professional, on her Career Clarity
Before working with Gina, I was very frustrated that I was not getting responses and especially for jobs that I was well-qualified for. I couldn’t figure out how to be clearer about my goal and as a result, I started to doubt if I was headed in the right direction. I was feeling stuck in my career and was resigned to the fact that I might never find satisfaction. Through the coaching process, I have gained clarity and focus with both a short-term plan and longer-term plans. I was able to confirm that I was, for the most part, on the right track. This process helped me clarify my next steps and to feel good about what I have accomplished so far in my career. I feel more excited about job searching now and better equipped to target my resume and bring out more of what the employer is looking for. I also feel that with this clarity, I am better able to articulate what I am looking for and to identify those jobs that are most suitable for me and are aligned with my core values.
Kelly Foley, Ph.D, Neuroscientist, on her Job Search
Before Gina and I worked together, I had a pretty good idea of what I needed to do as far as job search, but not the right tools to achieve it. I found the process valuable from the standpoint of that I learned that I have more to offer than originally thought. It was helpful to have targeted questions to evaluate what I wanted and what to look for in work, and how my skills or personality reflects that, making me a better fit for some positions than originally thought. Coming up with a purpose and value proposition was helpful in proving to me that I can sell myself in an attractive and effective way. My new résumé is more professionally worded – much more descriptive and explicit – in terms of value and what I can offer. My new cover letter is completely different from my old one and is much better at advertising myself. I have gained confidence in my abilities and the job postings I read are not as daunting anymore. I now have a new outlook and approach to my job search, and the tools to succeed.

Lydia Lao, Entrepreneur, on her Clarity Coaching
I met Gina in one of the networking events my friend held for me. On our first meeting i sensed that Gina has a genuine desire in using her talents in helping people. At that time I didn’t realize that her services are what i needed to organize my life. I was fraught with many challenges; I was broken hearted, my family lives in Montréal, I didn’t have supportive friends for emotional support, and I am running a computer company. I shared my situation to Gina, and I’m very grateful for her sense of care and quick thinking to suggest that she coach me.
During our sessions, I found Gina to be prompt, professional, insightful, friendly and knowledgeable. Together, we have clarified and prioritized my values which give me insights on my emotions. Through Gina’s guidance,I have created a life map, a graphical representation of what is currently most important to me,and my short term and long term goals. I consult it from time to time as a check point if I’m on the right track and what i needed to do.
